Welcome to the official imeem Gravity Tree page. We're just getting things set up here so...
Important things to know about Gravity Tree:
• We play a fairly progressive, experimental version of what most people call rock. Sometimes it has alternative elements, other times it goes completely into the avant garde. Call it prog rock if you want - many do.
• Some say we sound like Zappa, other say Rush, and still others point to King Crimson or Jethro Tull or someone else entirely. Regardless of influences, we try to maintain an original sound that's true to ourselves.
• We are a duo - that is, 2 people playing a variety of instruments to make a big sound - not your coffee house duo variety!
• Our latest CD is called ULTIMATE BACKWARD and we hope you check that out.
• The CD before UB was LIFE OR DESSERT? and you might like that one as well.
